Cycle4Change Day 5
It was an early start today as the team travelled the scenic route from Albany to Walpole. Cycling at a cracking pace they made excellent time arriving in Denmark for lunch 17 minutes earlier than last year.
After lunch was a very scenic ride through the tingle forest with the team arriving at our destination in the early afternoon, allowing some well earned downtime for the riders.
Today’s ride includes the much contested ‘Bow Bridge’ Sprint. Mr Banks took back his title for the ‘Bow Bridge’ Sprint King and the Bear Cam worked hard today capturing some great footage for our movie maker Jordon Prince-Wright.
Other awards recipients were Samantha Lewis – the yellow jersey, Jared Lewis – the Polka dot Jersey and Glen Slater – the Dinosaur award.
After dinner most of the team headed to bed early to prepare for the challenges of the next day.
