Cambodia 2015 Day 3

On Sunday afternoon we visited a local park called Ampey Pnomh with the older children. We travelled by ramok which was like a big trailer with seats, pulled behind a motorbike. Renee and Bronte had lots of fun calling hello to the locals as we rode past.

The park had a very decorative Buddist temple, and lots of statues of the Hindu ‘gods’. There were lots of trees with monkeys wandering around that we watched from a safe distance! We crossed a suspension bridge across a brown fast flowing river and the Awareness Cambodia children took great delight in jumping up and down on it, and swinging it from side to side and scaring the Aussies!

We got payback when we got back home and Mrs Spurgeon started a massive water fight. Everyone ended up soaked but it was hugely refreshing!
