To introduce our ‘Zoorific’ theme in Term 1, the students in Year 3 visited Perth Zoo!
They had a wonderful day learning about many unique and wonderful animals. A photo hunt took them around the whole zoo and the students used their mapping skills to help them find everything on the list.
The trip helped the students find inspiration for their own Year 3 Zoo at the end of term and they began learning about the animals that they would become the ‘zoo keepers’ for.
We had a wonderful day at Perth Zoo!
