On 14 June over 200 people gathered in the gym for a marvelous night of fun and mental engagement.
It was a close race between the top two tables for first prize, but everyone who attended found at least some questions they could answer and participated in the extra games played during the intervals.
The silent auction was a huge success with a large array of items for auction, from a wheelbarrow to numerous dinner and accommodation vouchers provided by our generous donors. Over $6000 was raised on the night for our Light Up Ahead School in Kantolomba, Zambia.
Over 260 children are fed and educated at the school to help them break the shackles of poverty. These funds will make a huge difference in the development of the school’s infrastructure and its sustainability.
A huge “thank you” needs to go out to all the sponsors and helpers who contributed to the night being great success.
