Parent Feedback and Concerns

As part of our goal to improve our communication and engagement as a learning community, we are continually seeking ways to improve the ease with which we engage and ensure our community works positively and cooperatively together.

Sometimes members of our community are not sure who to approach when they have a concern. The College has developed a ‘Procedure for Parent Communication with the College’ document.

If you feel that after following this procedure, your concern is still not addressed you are welcome to lodge a formal complaint via email to feedback@swan.wa.edu.au. Our Complaints Manager will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and initiate a process to resolve the issue, all complaints are logged in to our Complaints Register. The full procedure is available in SEQTA Engage under the documents tab.  If you would like a hard copy, please contact the Complaints Manager on the email address listed above.

The College has also introducing a child friendly complaints system that all children are currently being trained in. While the system is paper based, children can also use the feedback@swan.wa.edu.au email and can raise concerns using the Stymie website (www.stymie.com.au). Concerns raised on the Stymie website are anonymous.

We also appreciate receiving positive feedback and members of the College community are welcome to use the feedback@swan.wa.edu.au email to let us know what we are doing well.
