The English extension class have embarked on an exciting new project! The Year 8 students visited Pre Primary recently to meet a new Pre Primary buddy. The older students have been set the task to write a picture book with their buddy as the protagonist of their book.
The time flew by as the students young and older spent time with one another, finding out about their lives and the things that they love. Year 8s are studying poetry at the moment, and it is hoped that some of their writing skills acquisition will pay dividends here. The Year 8s will return to Pre Primary in Term 4, once they have produced their picture books to gift to the little ones.
