Congratulations to Lachlan (Year 12) on achieving an Honours (A) in his Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Grade 8 Piano for Leisure exam.
Lachlan’s examiner noted the well-prepared technical work section and the rhythmic accuracy in the jazz pieces of his exam. According to the AMEB, candidates who receive an Honours (A) for their exam demonstrate an overall superior level of achievement in meeting the syllabus objectives in all sections, in terms of musicianship, security of technique (including intonation, tone, phrasing, articulation, rhythm), and stylistic awareness.
Please join us in congratulating Lachlan on this outstanding achievement.
