VacSwim Enrolments
Enrolments are now open for VacSwim swimming lessons during the summer school holidays.
VacSwim in January offers fun lessons at beach or pool locations during the long break. Not only are they a great school holiday activity, they teach valuable safety skills to help keep your child safe in the water.
Your children can start as young as five years old.
There are programs for everyone, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Students 13 years and over can enrol in stages 13 – 16. Stage 16 enables them to achieve their Bronze Medallion.

Midland March That Matters
The North East Metro Midland March committee would like to invite you to the Midland March That Matters – There is no excuse for abuse.
The aim of this event is to promote the prevention of violence against women by raising awareness and making this issue visible to the community. The committee is proud to be able to run this grassroots event for the last seven years with the committee volunteering their time and donations covering all essential requirements.
When: Thursday 26 November 2020, 11:30am – 1:30pm
Where: Juniper Gardens (behind Midland Dome)
This year the North-East Metro Committee hopes to increase levels of public awareness of the issue of family and domestic violence and educate the broader community on the extent of services that are there to help. This will be achieved through a march around Midland followed by guest speakers, a sausage sizzle and information stalls. The event aims to convey the message that violence against women will not be tolerated, encourages people to be part of the change.
