Junior School Christmas and Awards Assemblies

As announced by the Principal Mr Scott, the extension of the Phase 4 restrictions and social distancing requirements for schools have caused us to reconsider the nature of the various end of year celebrations right across the College.

The Junior School is no exception to this, and our traditional Carols Night has had to be cancelled and the end of year class celebrations have been modified.

While we are disappointed about needing to alter our events, I thank you for your continued understanding and support this year. Classes have been preparing for the traditional Carols Night and while this event will not run as usual the class carols presentations have been incorporated into the various end of year functions.

Our Kindergarten to Year 5 end of year celebrations will all be conducted during the school day in the Maali Theatre across Wednesday 9 December and Friday 11 December.  A light morning or afternoon tea will be served at these functions.

A maximum of two parents/guests in total per student are invited to attend and we ask you to register attendance through a Trybooking process as we are limited in our seating capacity. There is no need to register your students.

We are intending to record all of these functions and make them available for parents of the year group to view online as we understand that many parents will not be able to be present during the day.

The Year 6 celebration will be held in the Gymnasium on Thursday 10 December from 6:00 – 8:30pm.

This venue caters to a larger audience and will include a light supper. Again, registration will be required through Trybooking with no need to register your student.
