2021 will see a continuation of the Living Well pastoral care platform at the College in Year 7-12. Please refer to SEQTA Learn/Engage or the College website for more information.

Our weekly calendar will begin running from Week 4 with lunchtime activities for all students who would like to partake in the opportunity. Furthermore, the Deans of Year and Mentor Teachers lead the year group themes during both Mentor Group time and allocated Living Well lessons on a Friday.

A major part of the Living Well platform is to provide our students with opportunities and experiences. Each experience aims to grow the individual and the collective culture of the group to achieve aims and goals related specifically to the year group theme and the students’ adolescent developmental stage.

The Year 12s recently experienced the Charity Ball, our Year 7 camp has been rescheduled due to COVID restrictions and the Year 9s have begun their Story and Challenge program and have received their Talking Stick (read more about the Story and Challenge program).

An exciting part of the Living Well platform is our parent sessions. We aim at delivering up to three parent sessions per year. Please see details here for our upcoming parent session on Friday 19 February delivered by YSafe. This is a yearly event and very worthwhile for all parents.

School TV is an excellent resource for parents and families. The College has invested in this resource and we encourage families to utilise it whenever needed.

Please feel free to contact me for any information relating to Living Well.
