On Wednesday 4 August students and staff in the Senior School travelled to Ern Clark Athletics Centre in Cannington for their House Athletics Carnival. We were blessed with a stunning day which contributed to a great carnival atmosphere as students competed and supported their Houses.
I would like to thank the House Coordinators, House Captains and other staff involved in making the day run smoothly.
Congratulations to Shenton House for winning the carnival to continue their dominant year of the major House carnivals. Congratulations also to the following students who either set a new record on the day or achieved champion or runner up for their year level:
This year there were several students who beat some College records including Jeandre in Year 9 (100m, 200m and Shot Put), Annaleigh in Year 11 (Javelin, Discus and Shot Put), Georgia in Year 11 (Javelin) and Daniel in Year 11 (200m).
