Living Well Parent Session

We had a great evening online with numerous parents across our community listening to our guest speaker Paul Dillon’s talk on Vaping.

Paul educated us and informed us with information and strategies when working with our children. Paul spoke last year to our parents on the topic of Alcohol and other drugs.

The College had invited Paul into the College for Week 7 of this term to talk to our senior students, however, due to Covid restriction and border closure we have had to reschedule Paul for next year.

If you joined us for the evening please download the Parent Info Sheet which Paul shared with you during the presentation.

Upcoming Webinar for Parents

Paul Dillon will be conducting a webinar for parents and carers titled ‘Young people, alcohol and other drugs 2021: What do parents need to know?’ on Thursday 16 September at 7:00-8:30pm (AEST). It will examine current drug trends amongst school-based young people, including vaping and the online sale of drugs via social media apps. The session aims to empower parents with a positive message and assist them in having open and honest family discussions in this complex area.
