College Hats Policy

As part of the College’s hat policy, it is a requirement that students have their own College hat for outdoor activities during Term 1 and 4. This includes using the oval and basketball courts at recess and lunch, as well as their Physical Education class.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure students and staff are protected from the harsh effects of the sun both now and into the future.

We are now into the fourth week of term and it is continuing to be a problem within Physical Education classes that students are not bringing their hats to their lessons. It is taking up a considerable amount of time for their teachers and putting extra load onto the staff to ensure students are supervised when not being able to participate due to not having a hat.

We are asking for your assistance to ensure your child has a College hat to enable classes to run smoothly and all students can be engaged with their lessons. Hats can be bought online via the link below.
