On Friday 29 October, joined by students and parents, we celebrated World Teachers’ Day!
Teachers (with support from parents and carers) have ensured education continues across the country this year, despite major challenges. This has reinforced the significant role teachers play in the lives of children and students, their families, and communities.
Students and parents were encouraged to take a photo in their most colourful, crazy sunglasses, write a note to their/their child’s teachers and consider sending a little encouragement gift to ‘make it through’ Term 4.
On the day, our staff were treated to a World Teachers’ Day Morning Tea with accompanying cupcakes. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and recognise our dedicated teachers and support staff who give their best to teach and grow the students at Swan Christian College.
