Our Kindergarten students in Kindy C planted up a storm in Terms 1 and 2. As part of their inquiry learning, the children have been actively engaged in a gardening program where they helped to cultivate some of the wonderful creations God has provided in the garden. The students have watched plants grow from seedlings and have learnt to care for them and appreciate nature.
The plants that they nurtured in the garden are now for sale and they discussed what they could do with the money raised. As they have been learning about sustainability, some of the money will be placed back into the gardening program so they can give back to the community and contribute money to a West Australian native animal rescue.
How can you help?
The plants are located on two trestle tables outside of Kindy C. They are $3 each. If you would like to purchase a plant, please select your plants from the trestle tables (in front of two large windows) and hand over the $3 to Mrs Brown or Mrs Hombergen Crute. They are located in room D2 (facing the vineyard). The store is open between 8:00am – 8:25am and 2:45pm – 3:00pm.
