Remembering Our Heroes with Rosemary

The College will be supporting Ellenbrook RSL’s ANZAC Day appeal by selling rosemary pins and camo wristbands during the Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews on Tuesday April 24 and prior to the ANZAC Day Assembly on Thursday April 27.

During World War I soldiers would pick a sprig of rosemary and give it to their mate to symbolise trust and friendship. It is traditionally worn on Anzac Day to honour our veterans and show support to their families.

Each item is a minimum donation of $3 and they will be available inside the gym during the student/parent/teacher interview (26 April). They will also be available in the gym foyer after the school’s ANZAC service (27 April).
