Swan Worklink is on a mission to help students flourish in the world of workplace learning, igniting their passion and confidence along the way!
Offering Workplace Learning as a subject in Year 11 or 12 isn’t just about ticking off requirements—it’s a chance for students to spread their wings and earn up to four WACE units (West Australian Certificate of Education Units). Think of it as a gateway to real-world experiences, where students can unlock their potential and pave the path for their future success.
In Semester 1, Swan Christian College and Swanonline students delved into workplace learning with an impressive lineup of host employers like Headspace, Western Power, Rebel Sport, Baptistcare, and Native Animal Rescue. From advocating for mental health to diving into electrical wonders, from rocking retail to lending a helping hand in aged care or wildlife rescue—Swan Worklink ensures that every student finds their niche in a supportive environment.
Swan Worklink provides comprehensive support to students throughout their workplace learning journey, assisting with placement, ensuring workplace health and safety measures, and offering ongoing monitoring and guidance. With Swan Worklink’s support, students can embark on their workplace learning adventure confidently, knowing they have the necessary support to thrive in today’s workforce.
