On Wednesday 4 September, the Senior Interschool Athletics Squad travelled to the WA Athletics Stadium to compete in the ACC E-Division Carnival. After being relegated from D-Division in 2023, the team set their sights on redemption, aiming for a top finish that would see them promoted back to D-Division in 2025.
The goal for the day was simple yet challenging: fill every event with our best athletes and compete at our highest level. Despite early wind and rain, the students and staff displayed tremendous determination and teamwork, staying focused on their objective.
The competition was fierce, with only a few points separating the top schools, including Swan Christian College, as the day progressed. The final outcome hinged on the relay events, where Swan’s teams delivered outstanding performances, securing an overall victory by a narrow margin of just 8 points over second place.
It was an incredible day of athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit, with students competing hard and encouraging each other throughout. A huge congratulations to all the students and staff who contributed to this remarkable achievement!
