This December, our Year 11 and 12 students will step beyond the classroom, embarking on a life-changing journey with the Philippines Impact Trip. Leaving Perth on 4 December, they’ll arrive in the vibrant surroundings of Malay where they’ll work alongside the Masa Ati community. This isn’t just a trip; it’s an opportunity to make a genuine impact.
Each day is carefully crafted to immerse students in community life. From building and teaching projects to joining in on a local church service, our students will be fully involved. Highlights include days spent working at Malay Agape Sunbeam Academy and First Love Jubilee Academy, providing meals, and sharing laughter with local children through sports, jungle treks, and even a heartfelt Christmas assembly.
With hands-on service and cultural engagement, this trip aligns with our College values—respect, integrity, spirituality, and excellence—bringing them to life in a powerful way. The journey will undoubtedly be one of growth, perspective, and lifelong memories as our students learn what it means to serve and be part of something larger than themselves. They’ll return on 16 December with stories to share, connections made, and hearts touched by this unique experience.
