About Swan Christian College
At Swan Christian College, our hope for our students is that they will RISE, Shine and Flourish in all they do and desire to do.
Our Kindergarten to Year 12 private Christian school is located in the Swan Valley region of Perth, Western Australia. At our College, character is as important as curriculum. We are accountable to God and to each other and our hope for our students is that they will RISE, Shine and Flourish in an environment shaped by Christian faith and values.
RISE: Respect others, show integrity, be spiritually aware and display excellence in all that you do.
Shine by knowing that you are created in the image of God, and you have a God-given purpose in this life.
Flourish and embrace every opportunity that comes your way to change the world in which you live.
Empowering and equipping children and young people to flourish in life by welcoming them into our College that is shaped by Christian faith and values and creating an environment where all within the community can truly belong, learn and thrive.
To provide excellent innovative educational leadership and continue to be a school of first choice for students, parents, and staff.
We have a Junior School campus with an Early Learning Centre, a Senior School Campus plus a state-of-the-art 800 square-metre trade workshop as part of our Swan Trade Training Centre, and we offer flexible online learning for students in Year 7 to 12 through Swanonline.
Come join our community and be part of something special.
Our College Values
Principal's Welcome
I warmly welcome you and your family to the Swan Christian College website. We hope you enjoy exploring our College online.
Our inspiration for all we do at Swan comes from a simple yet powerful message: “You are the light of the world,” as Jesus once said in Matthew 5:14-16. This isn’t just a verse: it is a call to action!
Think about Benjamin Franklin, the famous thinker, and inventor. He didn’t just talk about street lamps; he showed his neighbours by placing a candle in a lantern outside his home. He’d light it every evening, making the area safer and reducing crime.
This story reminds us to let our light shine. At Swan, we live by our core values: Respect, Integrity, Spirituality, and Excellence (RISE). We aim to be that guiding light, showing our love for God and positively impacting our community.
Swan Christian College is an environment where your child can rise, shine and flourish! Our College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational school accommodating over 1,600 students and comprises four sub-schools:
- Junior School: Kindergarten to Year 6
- Senior School: Year 7 – Year 12
- Swanonline: delivering quality online learning for Year 7 – Year 12
- Swan Trade Training Centre: Years 11 and 12
As a College, we aim to provide multiple opportunities and pathways for success after school in training, employment or service by:
- Creating a College culture where excellence and achievement are expected and celebrated.
- Engaging with parents to develop a stronger and more resilient College community.
- Being a place where staff are unified in purpose and seeking excellence in professional practice and pastoral care of our students.
- A place where students are engaged and belong.
- Ensuring that financial and material resources are managed effectively to the highest business standards of integrity and sustainability.
We invite you to explore our website and see what we have to offer your child. Better yet, we encourage you to come and see our College in action at one of our College Tours.
It would be a delight to welcome you to our beautiful campus and share with you the learning opportunities available here.

Working at Swan Christian College.
Swan Christian College is a non-denominational, co-educational Christian school that strives to be a caring and supportive educational institution, and a great place to work. It is our firm belief that staff members who are valued, supported and encouraged to perform provide more worthwhile and enjoyable learning opportunities for our students.
We seek to attract the best people, highly value our employees, provide a dynamic and innovative environment with a range of staff incentives that make us a sought-after employer.
Governance
Our school is part of Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA), WA’s largest independent Christian school provider.
Founded over 30 years ago with one school in Midland, the Association has since grown to own and operate seven schools in Perth. SCEA exists to partner with families and communities to provide Christ-centered education to help shape and grow future generations.
As leaders in researching, identifying, sharing and delivering innovative educational approaches, it is SCEA’s commission to explore new schools, sites, partnerships, associations, affiliations and developments to increase the opportunity to provide Christ-centred education locally, nationally and globally.
