Latest News

It is important for children and teens to have an understanding that we do not need to assimilate into one culture in preference over others. Difference is a great thing and our society can only benefit from a range of world views and experiences. This Special Report offers caregivers suggestions on how to celebrate ‘NAIDOC Week’.
As Semester 1 draws to a close, we reflect with gratitude on the many ways our students, staff, and families have embraced opportunities for growth, service, creativity, and connection. It has been a rich and rewarding season in the life of Swan Christian College.
We are pleased to share a summary of our recent academic results for students in Years 7 to 12. For Years 7 to 9, we set a benchmark of a 60% average across all subjects. It is encouraging that 69% of students reached or exceeded this target. Most of these students scored between 60% and 80%, showing consistent effort and steady progress.

Events

On Friday 28 March, a group of enthusiastic Year 8–9 girls represented Swan Christian College at the Freo Dockers Cup football (AFL) carnival, held at Jubilee Reserve in Eden Hill.
On 12 June, Senior School students swapped their uniforms for cozy winter wear to support the Salvation Army Winter Appeal. They donated gold coins, non-perishable food, gently-used warm clothing, and blankets to help those in need this winter.
