The 2024 ADHD WA Conference will be held at Optus Stadium on Saturday, 19 October 2024. This event promises to be a valuable opportunity for parents, carers, and professionals to gain insights into ADHD and related topics.
Ms Chantelle Chapman, Senior School Psychologist, will present on “ADHD + Parent and School Partnership.” This session will explore practical strategies for building stronger relationships between parents and schools, enhancing support for children with ADHD. Another key session, “ADHD + Anxiety in Children,” will be presented by Associate Professor Emma Sciberras from Deakin University, who will share her expertise on managing anxiety in children with ADHD.
There is also a Professional Stream available, with many educators already registered to attend. The conference offers both in-person and online attendance options, accommodating those in rural and remote locations. CPD certificates will be provided to all attendees, with online participants able to access the recorded sessions for 30 days following the event.
