The campus of Swan Christian College came alive with literary magic on 22 August as Book Week unfolded in a captivating display of creativity. From whimsical creatures to valiant superheroes, the event celebrated the power of literature to ignite young imaginations.

The highlight of the day was the Junior School staff’s animated reading and enactment of “Wombat Stew” by Marcia Vaughan. The young audience was thrilled, making for an enchanting experience.

The Senior School students, teachers, and staff enthusiastically joined the festivities, dressing as their favourite book characters. The English department transformed into Chronicles of Narnia characters, while the HASS department embodied Sherlock Holmes mysteries. Even the Operational and Admin staff partook in the fun, adding their own unique flair to Book Week Day.

Don’t forget to visit Book Fair featuring a wonderful array of books and stationery at the Junior School Library on Thursday 24, Friday 25 and Monday 28 August from 3:00pm – 4:30pm!
