Our Kindergarten students have started their inquiry into all things Australian, particularly the amazing and unique animals, plants and people that God has created.
We launched our inquiry with a wonderful Wow Day to Caversham Wildlife Park. Our ride on the bus was a highlight and we were excited to meet the Australian animals face to face; including a wombat, koalas, a python, kookaburras, possums and more. We enjoyed an interactive farm show where we were taught how to shear sheep, muster, swing a billy, feed lambs and we even had a go at milking a cow!
When asked about their favourite part of the day, many students agreed that it was feeding and patting the kangaroos in the free-range enclosure.
Thank you to our parent helpers who made the day so successful!
