On Monday, 9 December, we celebrated the graduation of our Year 6 students, marking the conclusion of their Junior School journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
The evening began with the students singing Confidence, setting the tone for the celebration.
Miss Katie Greenhalgh, Head of Junior School, addressed the graduates, reflecting on their growth and achievements and shared pearls of wisdom from the Bible, while the Year 6 teachers spoke of their heartfelt memories in their speech.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Year 6 Awards, recognising the hard work and accomplishments of individual students. This was followed by a funny and engaging speech by two of the Year 6 leaders on behalf of the year group, showcasing their gratitude and excitement for the future.
Each Year 6 student walked on to the stage to receive a special gift bag from Mr Charles Coghlan, our Dean of Year 7, while their baby photo was displayed on the screen. The evening concluded with a farewell and blessing from the teachers, followed by a formal recession.
Families and friends then enjoyed a light supper, celebrating this milestone together. Congratulations to the Year 6 class of 2024 – we are so proud of all you have achieved and look forward to seeing you thrive in Senior School!
