Honey Festival
West Coast Honey will be holding a Honey Festival as part of the Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day on Sunday 26 May.
The Honey Festival will include informational talks and activities abou bee keeping, a honey cake competition, a live bee display and more. WA Police Force Expo
The Western Australia Police Force would like to invite students and families to the WA Police Force Expo, to be held at the WA Police Academy, Joondalup on Saturday 23 March 2019.

Cool Kids Taking Control – Study about Bullying
The Centre for Emotional Health at Macquarie University is currently recruiting for the Cool Kids – Taking Control National Trial.
Cool Kids – Taking Control is an online self-help program that is designed to help children (7-11 years) who have been targets of bullying and who also have high levels of anxiety. Based on the Cool Kids anxiety program developed at Macquarie University in Sydney. The efficacy of Cool Kids – Taking Control in reducing peer victimisation is currently being investigated by a team at Macquarie University.
The program is designed to teach children skills to manage bullying and anxiety with the intent to help them better manage these experiences in social situations. Theprogram runs for 10 weeks, with a total of 8 lessons. These lessons will be delivered via the internet with parental guidance. The child’s progress through the program will be supported by a member of the research team at the Centre for Emotional Health.
