Learn To Sail School Holiday Program

Want to try something new this school holidays? Learn to sail at Maylands Yacht Club. 

Suitable for school-aged children aged 10 years and above (and able to confidently swim 25m).

  • Monday 4 October to Friday 8 October 2021
  • 9:00am to 1:00pm daily
  • $250 per student (that’s $50 a day for instruction, boat use, buoyancy jacket hire and lunch on Friday).

Discount applies to students from the same family. Includes lessons, boats and all safety equipment. 

Places are limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis

Shire of Chittering Education Scholarships

The Shire of Chittering Education Scholarships 2022 open on 1 September 2021. 

The scholarship program is open to residents of the Shire of Chittering who are:

  • graduating Year 6 in 2021 and commencing high school studies in 2022 and;
  • students graduating Year 10 at the end of the school year and continuing schooling in the following year.

  • Enrolments are now closed for 2024
  • Limited places available in Year 3, 2025
  • There are waitlists for Kindergarten and Year 7, 2025
  • There are also waitlists for Kindergarten and Year 7, 2026
  • We encourage you to submit applications at least two years in advance.
