Our Swanonline community is made up of a diverse range of students and families whose lifestyles are many and varied. We encourage Swanonline students to get involved in Swan Christian College’s broad range of programs that are available to our on-campus students as well as our Swanonline students.
Last week, we welcomed Swanonline students Emma (Year 10) and Michaela (Year 11) to our Dance Showcase. Both students dance at a professional level and impressed the audience with their performances.
Year 8 Swanonline student Saamed has been attending the College’s Year 8 English Learning Enrichment & Advancement Program (LEAP), a group that meets on a fortnightly basis to read, write and get passionate about literature and culture. Last term, the English extension class was given the task to write a picture book with a student in Pre Primary as the protagonist of their book.
Saamed has also produced amazing work in his Food class, impressing his teachers with his attention to detail.
“Even though his work is always completed to the highest standard, he amazes me time and time again with his creativity, eye for detail and beautiful food styling- a young chef in the making,” said Mrs Snyman.
Swanonline students are also encouraged to participate in the College’s swimming and sports carnivals, such as the House Athletics carnival or the Year 7 lightning carnival.
