The Swan Jazz Band recently performed at the WA Schools’ Jazz Festival at WAAPA. The band was very well received with very encouraging comments from the adjudicators. Year 9 student Ella was selected by the adjudicators for a Certificate of Musical Excellence.
This special award is given to a few selected players from across all the participating schools and allows the winner to have a workshop/lesson with a WAAPA tutor.
Congratulations to Ella on this wonderful achievement, and congratulations to the whole band on a terrific performance.
