The Year 9 Japanese students participated in the Assessment of Language Competence Certificate I, a national online test, and were ranked in the top 40 nationally with an average score of 69%.
In order to obtain this nationally recognised accreditation, students had to listen to conversations, read texts in Japanese and answer 50 questions.
Our top performing students were Nigella Bayliss, Erin McGrory, Sarah Wheat and Shelby Winter with an average score of 82%.
