On Wednesday 5 August our Middle and Senior Schools held their annual Interhouse Athletics Carnival at Ern Clark Athletics Centre in Cannington. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day and the competition between Houses was incredibly high.
There were some outstanding individual performances and a number of records broken throughout the day.
Individual performances are listed in the list of champions and runners up for each year group.
The overall Champion House for this year was Kennedy! Bennett did lead for most of the day but ended up in 3rd Place with Mungulu jumping into 2nd position. Kennedy have now won the last two major carnivals with their Cross Country and Athletics wins.
A huge thanks personally to the PE department and all of the hard work they put in throughout the day. I would also like to say a huge thanks to the Parent Committee who did an outstanding job feeding all the hungry students and staff during the day.
If your child finished in the top two to three places in any event they will be invited by Consent to Go to the ACC Athletics Carnival on 18 September. More information about this event will follow.
