Auditions for this upcoming Junior School production will be held on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 of June from 3:15 – 4:00pm in the Maali Mia Theatre.
Ms Jane Hille is looking for 17 characters who each have a speaking part and would like to learn more about Theatre by doing it. She is looking for eight young men and nine young ladies.
No experience is necessary, but if you have some that is terrific. Students do not need to prepare anything for this. I will be giving them script to read.
Year 6 students who are interested in taking part in this production will have to come to the auditions on Thursday.
Rehearsal will be every Thursday afternoon until 5 pm commencing Thursday 28 June and then rolling into Term 3.
The rehearsals are a commitment and so students must be available at this time. This is a big cast and part of the learning of the performance journey is to work creatively with others and to learn to rely on each other.
Over the July holidays, it is expected that performers learn their lines.
The show will go up in the last week of Term 3 or early in Term 4. Tickets will be on sale towards the end of Term 3.
