Our Junior School students finished in a close second place at the Western Australian Christian School Sport Association (WACSSA) Athletics Carnival and showed great sportsmanship at a recent Basketball competition.
Close Second Place at WACSSA carnival
On Thursday 5 November, our Junior School competed in the Western Australian Christian School Sports Association (WACSSA) Athletics carnival, with great results.
We finished in close second place and moved up four positions in the A Division carnival. Overall, we had four students finish in a top-three position. Big congratulations to Daena in Year 6, Lyla in Year 5, Harrison in Year 4 and Matilda P. in Year 4.
Well done to all the students who participated in the event.
Elite basketball competition
On Friday 13 November, selected Year 5 and 6 students traveled to Warwick stadium to play basketball in the Elite competition. They versed a total of three schools and made it into the finals.
Although they didn’t win, they fought hard and played really well. The students continued to show great sportsmanship and respect toward the school even after finishing in second place.
