During Term 4, Swan has had the opportunity to participate in the North Eastern Associated Schools (NEAS) Volleyball competition.
It is the first time this competition has run and has been used as a trial for the years coming. Scores have been kept during each game, however, there are no official finals or ladder for the competition.
We have been able to enter two mixed teams into the competition, with a Year 7 and Year 8 team combined and a Year 9 and Year 10 team. Both teams are mixed gender. So far, we have played against La Salle, Holy Cross College and Ellenbrook Christian College, with both of our teams performing very well across all games.
Next year, the competition will be expanded to include Year 11 and 12s and will most likely be run in Term 3. A huge thank you goes to the students who have jumped on board and gotten behind this social competition.
