Science Week in the Junior School included a range of incursions by Scitech and Science Alive for all year groups, as well as some very exciting STEM activities which showcased the ‘Food and Design’ theme of the week.
Our students love Science and love food even more, so combining the two of them was always going to be a winning combination.
Apart from learning fascinating scientific facts about nature like the weather and air pressure, they also found out how much fun science can be!
During their classroom STEM activities, our students learned how to set up a veggie garden for success, created edible rock crystal geodes and explored reversible and irreversible change by dissolving lollies (under supervision).
