On Saturday 31 August, 13 students from the Year 4 – 6 Academic and Creative Extension group went to Curtin University for a challenge called Optiminds.
“On Tuesday afternoons we had one and a half hour sessions for six weeks to work on a solution to a challenge for Science and Engineering or Language Literature. On Saturday it was performance day at Curtin Uni and we presented in front of judges. It was very fun and enjoyable. Everyone enjoyed it and presented well. We gained many skills and developed our team work. The choking turtle was a crowd favourite!”
