Day Four
What a day! Starting with some off-road go-karting fun; both staff and students had an absolute blast.
After lunch, we then drove down to Meekatharra and enjoyed spending time with the local youth centre playing table tennis, football, painting, drawing and many console games.
Before heading off to our big basketball competition with the local youth we drove to the Meekatharra lookout to see the open pit mine site and then travelled to Peace Gorge to explore the beautiful landmarks and watch the sunset.
From there it was all games on! The games were split into Meekatharra vs Swan Christian College (older male youth only) and Bibs vs Non-Bibs (younger youth, both girls and boys).
It was a great day and opportunity to meet the youth of Meekatharra and have fun together.
