So many of the Year 6 students love their sport and are passionate about achieving their best in their chosen sports. Because of this, a very special surprise was organised: a visit from Elijah Hewett of the West Coast Eagles.  This was an opportunity to learn from someone who has only recently gone before them and the students most definitely made the most of it.
On Thursday 30 November at 6:00pm the Swan Christian Netball Club will be holding its Annual General Meeting at Swan in the Conference room. All parents of students involved in the netball club are encouraged to attend.
The future of women's cricket in Western Australia is looking brighter than ever, thanks to the remarkable achievements of Shay Manolini, a former graduate from Swan’s Class of 2020. Shay's dedication and talent have earned her a spot in the prestigious Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry squads, a remarkable feat for a young cricketer.
In an impressive achievement, Year 11 student Austin R has been honoured with the title of Football West State League U18 Player of the Year. Austin's journey in soccer started at just 4 years old with Swan Valley United Christian League, leading to his selection for the Forrestfield United Football Club NPL U14 team in 2020. Last year, he represented Forrestfield UFC’s Under 18 squad and proudly represented Western Australia and Swan Christian College at the WA Under 16 State School National Football Championships in Sydney.
We're thrilled to share an incredible achievement from one of our former students, Savannah Matthews, who graduated in 2019. Her artwork has earned a coveted spot in The Lester Prize, a renowned Australian art exhibition.
We're thrilled to announce that we have received a 2023 Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant for our project, Maali Bush Tucker Garden.

The Maali Mia Theatre at Swan Christian College lit up on 21 August, as a spectacular dance showcase unfolded. From 6:30pm to 7:30pm, the audience was treated to a mesmerizing display of choreographed performances that spanned genres and left everyone captivated.

Saturday 19 August, was a special day for our Year 6 netball team, SC10. They swapped their uniforms for aprons and hosted a Bake Sale and Sausage Sizzle fundraiser that hit all the right notes.

“Happy wife, happy life” is a value that many couples appreciate. After seeing a two-year-old toddler behave badly at church recently I suspect many parents might say “happy children, happy life”. This statement if often echoed in interview meetings at the College when parents are asked what they would like for their child, the reply is, “I just want them to be happy”.
You're invited to The College's annual 2023 Visual Arts Exhibition, where our talented Visual Arts Year 1 - 12 students will be showcasing their creative masterpieces. This event is a testament to their hard work and artistic growth throughout the year.
