Fathering Project Campout

Our Advancement Team and the Parent Christian Lifestyle Committee, organised the hugely successful Fathering Project Camp Out for dads and their children, drawing the participation of over 150 individuals.

Year 9 Science Students Explore Light and Vision

During our recent Year 9 Physics unit about Light, students were excited to undertake the incredible learning opportunity of dissecting a cow eye. This hands-on exploration offers a unique and engaging way for students to understand the principles of light and vision.

Swan’s Christmas Hamper Drive: Spreading Joy and Hope

Christmas is quickly approaching and this year, the College wishes to continue spreading this joy to families in the local community who are experiencing difficult circumstances. We are partnering with New Life Welfare to spread joy by providing Christmas hampers for local families in need. Students will be collecting items for hampers – your donations are welcome!

Carols by Candlelight

We invite you to come to the Junior School’s Carols by Candlelight evening on Wednesday 29 November. Students from Kindy to Year 6 will prepare an item to perform at this community event. Bring your family and friends to join us in celebrating the meaning of Christmas!

West Coast Eagles’ Elijah Hewett Inspires Year 6 Students

So many of the Year 6 students love their sport and are passionate about achieving their best in their chosen sports. Because of this, a very special surprise was organised: a visit from Elijah Hewett of the West Coast Eagles.  This was an opportunity to learn from someone who has only recently gone before them and the students most definitely made the most of it.

Netball AGM

On Thursday 30 November at 6:00pm the Swan Christian Netball Club will be holding its Annual General Meeting at Swan in the Conference room. All parents of students involved in the netball club are encouraged to attend.

Alumni Spotlight: Shay Manolini, a Rising Star in Women’s Cricket

The future of women's cricket in Western Australia is looking brighter than ever, thanks to the remarkable achievements of Shay Manolini, a former graduate from Swan’s Class of 2020. Shay's dedication and talent have earned her a spot in the prestigious Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry squads, a remarkable feat for a young cricketer.

Year 11 Student Triumphs in Soccer

In an impressive achievement, Year 11 student Austin R has been honoured with the title of Football West State League U18 Player of the Year. Austin's journey in soccer started at just 4 years old with Swan Valley United Christian League, leading to his selection for the Forrestfield United Football Club NPL U14 team in 2020. Last year, he represented Forrestfield UFC’s Under 18 squad and proudly represented Western Australia and Swan Christian College at the WA Under 16 State School National Football Championships in Sydney.

A Night of Dazzling Talent and Joyful Dance

The Maali Mia Theatre at Swan Christian College lit up on 21 August, as a spectacular dance showcase unfolded. From 6:30pm to 7:30pm, the audience was treated to a mesmerizing display of choreographed performances that spanned genres and left everyone captivated.

A Sweet Success for Netball Fundraiser

Saturday 19 August, was a special day for our Year 6 netball team, SC10. They swapped their uniforms for aprons and hosted a Bake Sale and Sausage Sizzle fundraiser that hit all the right notes.
