At the end of last year, the Year 9 cohort (now Year 10) had the pleasure of participating in a Peer Support workshop.
The day consisted of leadership and teamwork activities. The students worked in teams and visibly enjoyed the activities such as designing a costume using two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of sticky tape.
The main purpose of the day was to equip students to be able to facilitate a wellbeing program for our new Year 7 students.
Supplementary purposes included:
- Creating a sense of unity among the cohort
- Instilling values of respect and compassion
- Instilling skills to work well in a team, listen well to others and communicate effectively.
