Orientation
“The second day started off with a well-needed sleep in. We woke up to a lovely breakfast where Jack W delighted us with a new food combination of scrambled eggs and muesli. After breakfast, we went for a walk along the beach where there were many shops and food stalls. We were then shown key places to remember if we ever got lost or needed help such as the police station. After this we stopped for some ice cream and went back to the Vista house for lunch. After lunch we walked down to the beach and had a swim in the water and threw a frisbee and tennis ball around. We then had some time back at the house for free time before we went to church at the Jubilee Academy. After the lovely service we were shown what previous Swan students had achieved from previous years such as building classrooms and starting of the school’s gymnasium roof. It was then time for us all to go have dinner where we stopped at a very nice food court with many options for dinner. We ate dinner, got some dessert and some “attempted” to play giant chess. We then set off on the walk back to the Vista and got ready for some well needed rest for the big day ahead of us.”
