Rotary Youth Exchange Scholarship

The Rotary Youth Exchange Program (RYE) is arranged by Rotary Clubs to give young people the opportunity of a lifetime to experience other cultures in a wide choice of countries. Youth Exchange provides many opportunities, both during and after the exchange is completed.

Students attend school and stay with local host families which provides a unique opportunity to experience the culture first hand, learn new ways of life and languages.

The Rotary Youth Exchange is offering a full scholarship to a suitable student whose family would otherwise be unable to fund it. They want to give the opportunity to a young person who shows a commitment to working to the best of their ability and demonstrates care for others. A Rotary Youth Exchange allows you to:

  • travel, live and study overseas for a year
  • learn another language
  • develop a network of friends from around the world
  • experience a new culture.

While they can only offer one full scholarship, some financial assistance may be available to other students whose family needs some support.

Eligibility:
Open to all WA students who will be between 15 – 18 in January 2025.
