The Year 9 students are undertaking their Story and Challenge rite of passage. In Week 1, each student received a ‘talking stick’ from Principal Adrian Scott in a ceremony marking the start of their journey.
They will be documenting their journey through the creation of a ‘talking stick’ which will require them to research, design and then inscribe their stick using a pyrography pen. This will be done under teacher supervision during Living Well classes and some Mentor Group classes. We hope that this program will become a regular topic of conversation between you, your child and the significant others in their lives. We look forward to a meaningful and productive time during this important start of their journey from child to thriving adult.
