Red Cross is working with the City of Swan to help children in Years 3 and 4 in local community schools to learn about emergency preparedness. Become a part of a network of volunteers that facilitate a fun and engaging Pillowcase Project lesson, teaching students how to make and emergency kit.

The City of Swan is attracting new volunteers and members who are interested in working together to improve the local community. Get involved by attending a free special workshop hosted by social entrepreneur and community enthusiast Peter Kenyon. He will be running a workshop with interactive exercises, practical tools and will focus on
- The basis of community reconnection and volunteer contribution, and how we rebuild social capital and community engagement
- Practical strategies to grow volunteer recruitment.
- How we can come together to improve our community.
