It’s been an interesting year. We have worked very hard and we have had some interesting things happen. Working through COVID was certainly not something we imagined would happen at the beginning of the year, but we have managed to get a full year of school learning in. Admittedly, we haven’t been able to do some of the things we would have loved to do to celebrate the community that is part of Swan Christian College, but we have done other things that we haven’t been able to do before, for example, our Outreach program. Thank you to all of you who contributed to this program.

It’s exciting to look forward to next year. It’s exciting to think that, despite all the things that went wrong, we got things done. Thank you so much for your encouragement and your willingness to accept when we couldn’t do things the way we traditionally had.
We have a few changes of role in our senior leadership for next year: Mr Eason will be Deputy Principal, across the College, Mr May will be Head of Academic Studies, looking after all of the curriculum for the College (in particular in Year 7-12), Mrs Crump will be working with our teachers, improving the quality of what happens in each and every classroom, working together with them as a team to help them grow, and Mr Bergin will be looking after our student wellbeing and behaviour management, together with the Deans.
So now as we go into Christmas, I wish you a very peaceful, very blessed Christmas and pray that we will all be able to come back together here at Swan Christian College, ready for another school year in 2021.
Mr Adrian Scott
Principal
