The relaunch of the Year 10 Work Experience program has been a great success.
Swan Christian College students gained an insight into the world of work and, in some cases, even a part time job. The recent relaunch of the program was led by Mr Luke Norman.
Below are some of the comments the College received from host employers (please note that names have been changed):
“It was an absolute pleasure to have her here. She was very courteous and showed good initiative. My co-workers all commented on how lovely it was to have her here.”
“The Statutory services Team at the Shire of Mundaring were very impressed with Mary. Her enthusiasm, interest and interpersonal communication skills were exemplary. I am sure she will do very well in whatever vocation she chooses. Thank you and well done Mary, and well done Swan Christian College”
“Richard was a delight to host at the clinic. He displayed a fabulous attitude towards learning and experiencing different aspects of physiotherapy. Richard showed maturity with patients and Physiotherapists alike, along with initiative when completing designated tasks. He would be welcomed back anytime.”
“Very punctual and well presented. Jasmine was mature and friendly within the work place, and actively listened and communicated well with the responsible person on the task she was assigned to. Jasmine asked questions for clarification and had enthusiasm to the tasks she was assigned.”
