Oliver B, a Year 11 student, embarked on an exciting USA Basketball tour last term as he embraced thrilling challenges and unique opportunities. Immersed in the fast and highly skilled competition of the US, Oliver discovered a whole new dimension of the game compared to what he experienced in Australia.
His journey has given him lifelong memories and friendships. In July, Oliver engaged in the dynamic ‘The Last Dance’ competition in Chicago, delivering an outstanding performance, contributing crucial points to his team’s success.
As his tour progressed, Oliver prepared for his return to school in Term 3, where he has undoubtedly brought back a wealth of learning and growth from his remarkable basketball adventure.
