The student leaders met together on Tuesday 28 November with Mrs Helen Poole, Mr Simon Bergin, Mrs Teneale Leaver, Lily F and Trent H who have newly graduated from the Year 12 Leadership Team.
Their first task was to start planning the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) Conference in 2024. Lily and Trent shared their expertise on this event and inspired the team to go bigger and better than the year before. We even got Sarah McCutcheon (the GLS Next Gen Relationship Manager Australia) to Zoom in from Newcastle to show us what some other schools around Australia are doing in this space.
In the afternoon, a much more relaxed group of leaders started planning a tangible legacy for their leadership role. Students floated some excellent ideas and worked well with their teams.
We are excited to see the Year 11s’ leadership skills shine in 2024!
