Last week the Junior School was introduced to the Student Leadership team for 2017.
Year 6 Student Leaders Assembly
At their assembly in Week 8, the leaders shared what they have learnt about leadership this term, and the vision they have to serve the College. Humility, persistence, trust and creativity were key values discussed, as well as ideas to develop Service Awards, lunch time clubs and a Peer Support Program.
We look forward to hearing about and seeing these ideas come to fruition.
Year 6 Student Leadership Conference
The Junior School Student Leaders recently joined 1500 Year 6 students from across Perth at Halogen’s ImagiNATION conference at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Leadership Team heard from a range of leaders, including Channel 9 news presenter Tracy Vo, and Olympic athletes Ashleigh Nelson and Rach Lynch. The students were inspired, engaged, and learnt that together, through Christ, we can achieve great things.
