On Wednesday of Week 8, Year 6B presented their assembly. It was a little nerve-wracking for all the students to be the first class up for the year!
The group pulled together to decide on a theme, create a presentation and write their own scripts. During class we have been focusing on persuasive speaking through our Nobel Prize debates, so 6B decided to present a gameshow styled session on a few of our class’s nominees: Betty Williams, Martin Luther King Junior, Malala Yousafzai, Fiona Wood and Thomas Edison.
The students practised hard and committed themselves to the presentation. The result was a fun, informative and smoothly run assembly! It was great to see all 6B students working together to represent Year 6 to the College. Well done to the 6B class!
